COURSE DESCRIPTION

Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Civil Engineering programme is designed to have specialization options in Structural design Engineering and Thermal Engineering. The M.Tech. in Civil, Engineering programme will impart advanced knowledge in the field of specialization and will prepare the students for a bright career in industries, research and academic organizations within India and abroad.

Structural Design Engineering

M.Tech. in Structural Engineering involves advanced study of the course’s components such as Structural Mechanics, Finite Element Analysis, Structural Dynamics, Structural Reliability and Optimization, Reinforced and Pre-Stressed Concrete, Steel Structures, Design for Wind And Earthquake, Tall Buildings And Towers, Computer Applications In Structural Engineering, etc.

ELIGIBILITY

M.Tech. is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course, the minimum eligibility for which is a B.E. or B.Tech. degree in any stream of engineering, preferably Civil Engineering, completed with a minimum aggregate score of 55%. The program is spread over 4 semesters, with the final semester being based on the candidate’s chosen stream of study.

Fees : Rs. 60000/- (Per Year )

SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is applicable to the students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category. The scholarship is administered by the Government of Madhya Pradesh based on annual income of the family. Students with family income below Rs. 3,00,000/- are eligible to apply.

  1. Attested photocopy of permanent caste certificate.
  2. Original income certificate / attested photocopy of income certificate.
  3. Attested photocopy of domicile certificate.
  4. Attested photocopy of all mark sheets.
  5. Attested photocopy of gap certificate.
  6. Attested photocopy of admission slip
  7. Declaration by family and student(Format available in college)
  8. Candidates must have Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2.
