COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Department of Mechanical Engineering prepares the students for wide range of career choices in the field of mechanical engineering. The department of Mechanical Engineering deals with design, machines and all the other equipment to be used in mechanical industries. The department offers specializations in the field of thermal engineering. Our department provides jobs opportunities in most reputed manufacturing firms, government departments, public or private sector industries.

Thermal Engineering

M.Tech.Thermal Engineering is a postgraduate course involving- on an advanced level- concepts of energy efficiency, renewable energy & environmental preservation, and their entwinement with classical energy technologies and recently discovered technologies. The Thermal Engineering course lays emphasis on real-time applications of fluid flow and heat transfer in Thermal energy systems, Cryogenic Engineering and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning etc. It trains students in the design, development and simulation and enables them to explore new areas in Thermal Energy Systems and allied sciences.

ELIGIBILITY

M.Tech. is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course, the minimum eligibility for which is a B.E. or B.Tech. degree in any stream of engineering, preferably Civil Engineering, completed with a minimum aggregate score of 55%. The program is spread over 4 semesters, with the final semester being based on the candidate’s chosen stream of study.

Fees : Rs. 60000/- (Per Year )

SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is applicable to the students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category. The scholarship is administered by the Government of Madhya Pradesh based on annual income of the family. Students with family income below Rs. 3,00,000/- are eligible to apply.

  1. Attested photocopy of permanent caste certificate.
  2. Original income certificate / attested photocopy of income certificate.
  3. Attested photocopy of domicile certificate.
  4. Attested photocopy of all mark sheets.
  5. Attested photocopy of gap certificate.
  6. Attested photocopy of admission slip
  7. Declaration by family and student(Format available in college)
  8. Candidates must have Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2.
